Chocolate is not an addiction, it is simple a real necessity.
Ingredients:
- 400g of dark chocolate or milk chocolate
- Mold
- 250g of dark or milk chocolate for chocolate sauce
- 100 ml of cream for chocolate sauce
Method:
- Place a heatproof bowl on top of a saucepan of simmering water (don’t let the bowl touch the water)
- Add 2/3 of the dark chocolate and allow to melt for a little bit. Stir till fully melted. Remove from heat.
- Add remaining chocolate and mix till completely melted.
- Prepare baking paper by laying flat on surface. Fill each dome with a little bit of chocolate. Using a brush, brush the chocolate around the sides of each dome.
- Flip over and shake out excess. Lay upside down on clean baking paper till air dry.
- Scrape the remaining melted chocolate and place back into bowl.
- When dry to touch, apply second layer. Allow to dry again.
- Carefully pop out each dome and set aside. Heat up a fry pan and set aside.
- Place dome upside down on warm pan to melt the chocolate enough to give the dome a flat base.
- On your serving plate, place some crumbled brownie in a circle with a hollow center. Place the dome with the melted hole in the center.
- You can fill the dome with whatever you would like. I’m going to fill my sphere with some chocolate brownies and chocolate ice cream. You can never have too much chocolate!! - Place second dome right side up on still warm pan. Melt a little bit and place on top of the first dome. Hold in place while it dries and sticks.
- To make sauce melt 250 g of chocolate and stir in cream. Pour into jug.
- Pour hot chocolate sauce over your chocolate sphere and watch it melt. Enjoy !!
