Algerian Ghribia

Ingredients:

- 250 ml oil

- 120 g icing sugar

- 500 g self-raising flour

- Pinch of salt

- Ground cinnamon


Method:

1. In a medium sized mixing bowl pour in the oil and sugar. Mix with a spoon till there are no lumps.

2. Add the salt.

3. Gradually add the flour mixing till incorporated.

4. You can knead with your hands till a soft crumbly dough has formed.

5. Spoon 1 tablespoon of the biscuit mixture onto your hand and roll till you form a small ball.

6. Place on prepared baking tray. Using the end of a spoon, poke a small hole on top of each biscuit. Sprinkle a little cinnamon in each hole.

7. Bake at 140 degrees for 25 – 30 minutes until slightly golden on top.

8. Allow to cool. Enjoy!
